Welcome to the Emotional Intelligence Lab—where curious minds become emotion detectives, and every feeling is a clue waiting to be explored!
In this interactive, hands-on workshop, students experiment with the skills of emotional intelligence through games, movement, teamwork, mindfulness, and creative challenges. Along the way, they'll discover how to identify their own emotions and learn how they can regulate them. As curiosity is sparked, students begin to understand what others might be feeling, practicing how to respond with confidence, empathy, and kindness.
From tackling "big feelings" to solving friendship puzzles, children build practical tools for calming their minds, communicating clearly, working together, and making thoughtful choices. They'll learn that emotions aren't problems to fix—they're important messengers that help us better understand ourselves and the world around us.
Our goal is by the end of the lab, every young emotional scientist leaves with a toolbox full of strategies they can use throughout their lives. Emotional intelligence isn't something you're born with—it's a superpower you can grow through curiosity, practice, and connection.
